What is AB 1825?   AB 1825 is a California bill (codified at Government Code section 12950.1) which mandates:

  • all California employers with 50 or more employees
  • must provide two hours of sexual harassment prevention training
  • to their supervisors and managers
  • every two years, starting in 2005.

Sexual harassment training is not required for employers with less than 50 employees however it is highly recommended.  Employers who choose to educate their management and leadership team on ways to prevent harassment and discrimination in the workplace reduce their risk and liability.  Training is a mitigating measure in the courts eyes and will be taken into consideration shall a claim arise.

On-site Training – VOS provides a fun filled customized training program to fit the needs of any corporation.   Our qualified trainer meets the requirements for trainers under AB1825.

On-line Training – is an excellent option for employees that can’t get away from the office.    The training is up to date and interactive.   Participants will receive an immediate certificate of completion upon successful completion of the course.  Employees are able to stop and restart their training in case they are not able to sit for the complete two hours.
